Welcome to the website of Arundel Lawn Tennis Club. The Club was founded in 1963 and is situated in beautiful surroundings close to Arundel Castle, the River Arun and with fine views to the Sussex Downs over the water meadows. We have three hard courts, a recently extended clubhouse and a current membership of around 100.
We are located off Mill Road in Arundel, close to other sporting venues including Arundel Football Club and Arundel Bowling Club. Click here for a map. From the centre of the town just follow the directions to the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust and the Black Rabbit Inn and the entrance is just past the putting green and children’s playground.
The Club is affiliated to the Sussex LTA and enters mens and ladies teams in the Sussex league competitions – both summer and winter. For current results see the individual team pages available from the menu above. In addition we have a regular programme of friendly matches against local clubs. Please click on the Times page for details of the Weekly Tennis Programme which aims to provide opportunities for players of all ages and abilities.
For adults wishing to return to playing tennis or to brush up on the basics, there are sessions specifically designed for those with “rusty raquets”. These include a very informal hosted evening on Thursdays which is a great way for new members to get to know about the club and to get help and advice about how to improve their game.
Arundel LTC is a registered CASC club and is managed by a Committee of volunteers. The Club has been awarded Tennis Club Mark accreditation and recently recieved a grant from the National Lottery and Sport England to fund the installation of floodlights.
Coaching is offered through the Club Coach – Paul Macintosh – who is a fully qualified LTA coach. Paul offers a range of coaching options including individual and group sessions for both senior and junior members. For more details please call Paul on 07989497778 or send him and email
